Roofing Estimator/Sales


Job Details

This is a full-time, direct placement role at Willis Roofing & Waterproofing.

Basic Function: Secure profitable work and build positive relationships with new customers.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  1. Develops positive relationships with existing and new potential customers in Tampa Bay and markets we service.
  2. Secures opportunities on projects that fit our type of work and utilizes our resources.
  3. Performs quality take-offs, reviews specifications, and prices projects.
  4. Value engineers' projects before and after award.
  5. Makes presentations to customers.
  6. Negotiates contracts and approves scope of work.
  7. Provide sales support as requested by leadership.
  8. Attends networking organization meetings such as Chambers, IREM, BOMA, BAA, CAI, ABC, GCBX.
  9. Tracks projects from bid stage to award. Maintain and Updates bid log as necessary using CRM program. Track Leads and prospects weekly.
  10. Maintains a profitable backlog of projects with an attainable annual sales revenue goal.
  11. Secures multiple subcontract bids when required on projects. Receive written quotes.
  12. Secures multiple supplier/manufactures quotes on materials. Receive written quotes.
  13. Provide full service to customers prior to contract execution.
  14. Provide complete information for required job set up and hand-off to production department.
  15. Maintains project file and effectively hands off the file along with all the pertinent job information to the Service or Production Department.
  16. Provide value to team members to create collaborative working environment as needed.
  17. Provide weekly communication with production team on job progress.
  18. Provide external and internal customer interaction on all project change orders.
  19. Provide support to administrative staff including collections effort on overdue billings.
  20. Follows up with clients after the sale job completion to ensure their satisfaction.
  21. Keeps up to date on the roofing industry with regards to technologies, materials, and equipment.
  22. Proficient with computer skills such as word processing, spreadsheets, presentation, and contact management databases.
  23. Utilize Willis Roofing estimating template.
  24. Ask for help and support when required.


Requirements

  • Proven track record in sales
  • Strong knowledge of roofing materials, systems, and installation systems
  • Excellent communication skills

$52,000 - $62,000
