As a member of our team, you'll play a pivotal role in our mission to target numerous manufacturing modules that are pivotal in the automotive industry today. We cater to a diverse clientele, including consumers, skilled mechanics, and trusted dealers who rely on us to resolve a wide range of electrical vehicle faults.


The Role


We are seeking individuals with a minimum of 5 years experience as an Electronics Technician with a focus on hardware to lead teams of technicians working on ECUs and vehicle electronics, including TIPMs. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in electronics troubleshooting, repair, and maintenance, as well as excellent leadership skills to guide and mentor the team.


Responsibilities:

  • Lead a small team of Technicians responsible for testing, troubleshooting, and repairing electronic components and systems.
  • Develop and implement procedures and best practices for efficient and effective testing and repair.
  • Collaborate with Engineering team to identify and resolve technical issues and improve product reliability.
  • Train and mentor team members on proper testing techniques, equipment usage, and safety protocols.
  • Maintain accurate records of test results, repairs, and inventory and regularly report data to leadership.
  • Continuously assess and improve processes to optimize efficiency and quality.
  • Ensure the team is meeting all weekly metrics and conceive and implement Performance Improvement Plans for any team members who need extra training.


Must-Haves:

-Minimum 5 years experience as an Electronics Technician

-Experience leading a small team

-Expertise in soldering, trace repair, and hot air rework

-Knowledge of removing and replacing surface mounts

-Familiarity with electronic test equipment, circuit boards, and schematic drawings.

-Ability to troubleshoot, analyze and isolate component malfunctions in electronic systems.

-Ability to use hand tools, technical manuals, and electronic formulas.

-Ability to assemble electronic components onto printed circuit boards and use an oscilloscope and signal generator to diagnose and isolate problems in electronic systems.


Nice-to-Haves:

-Degree/certification in electronic hardware tech or equivalent

-Expertise in automotive electronic industry

-Knowledge about CAN BUS in vehicles and Microcontrollers

-Knowledge of one programming language


Position Details:

-Monday through Friday, flexible shift options available between 7:00AM to 5:00PM

Full-time

-On-Site ONLY

-Location: Chatsworth, California

-Benefits include Medical, Dental, Vision, paid time off, life insurance

-Salary range for this position begins at $70k and is negotiable based on experience.
