Seranova Bio, an early-stage biotechnology leader, is recruiting for a Senior Research Associate role. This role offers the opportunity to join a team working on exciting first-in-class biologics across multiple therapeutic areas, leveraging our cutting-edge REAP technology and analytics platform.

Seranova Bio is an early-stage company dedicated to the creation of groundbreaking therapeutics. Our proprietary REAP (rapid extracellular antigen profiling) technology and analytics platform enable the discovery of the functional immune interactions that drive health and disease. We were founded in 2020 by Fred Hutchinson Cancer Center professor and serial academic entrepreneur Aaron Ring. Located in the vibrant biotech hub of South San Francisco, we are proudly supported by leading investors Foresite Capital Management and The Column Group.

Key Responsibilities
- Perform production REAP immune profiling experiments at scale
- Plan and execute experiments encompassing a wide variety of techniques:
- Yeast culture, antibody purification, cloning, NGS-sequencing
- Manage an inventory of patient samples
- Contribute to laboratory operations, including organization, inventory, and ordering

Ideal Qualifications
- B.S. or M.S. in biology, bioengineering, or another relevant field
- 3+ years of experience in a biotechnology company
- Experience with common molecular biology techniques:
- PCR, nucleic acid purification, and protein purification
- Experience with medium and high-throughput molecular biology workflows is a plus
- Experience with cell culture, microbes (e coli or yeast), or phage
- A working understanding of next-generation sequencing workflows
