Job Summary:

As the President - North America of this large food manufacturer, you will be responsible for providing strategic leadership and overall direction to the organization. You will drive the company's mission, vision, and values while ensuring that all business operations are in alignment with our goals. This role requires a results-driven, forward-thinking, and experienced executive who can lead a talented team and navigate the challenges and opportunities in the food manufacturing industry.


THE ROLE IS BASED IN NORTHERN ILLINOIS


Responsibilities

  • Strategic Leadership: Develop and implement the company's strategic plan, identifying growth opportunities and industry trends, and adapting the business model accordingly.
  • Financial Management: Oversee financial performance, including budgeting, forecasting, and FULL P&L management, to ensure sustainable growth and profitability.
  • Team Leadership: Build and lead a high-performing executive team, promoting a culture of collaboration, innovation, and accountability.
  • Product Development: Drive innovation in product development, ensuring the creation of high-quality, market-leading food products that meet consumer demands.
  • Operations Management: Optimize manufacturing processes, supply chain, and distribution operations to enhance efficiency, quality, and cost-effectiveness.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Ensure the company complies with all relevant regulations, standards, and quality control measures in the food manufacturing industry.
  • Customer and Vendor Relations: Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers, suppliers, and partners to foster growth and mutually beneficial collaborations.
  • Market Expansion: Identify and pursue new market opportunities, domestically and internationally, to expand the company's market presence.
  • Sustainability and Responsibility: Promote sustainability and corporate social responsibility initiatives throughout the organization.
  • Risk Management: Proactively manage and mitigate risks, both internal and external, that could impact the company's success.


Qualifications

  • Proven track record of successful leadership in a senior executive role, preferably in the food manufacturing industry
  • Strong understanding of food production processes, safety, and quality control
  • Exceptional financial acumen with a history of driving revenue growth and profitability.
  • Background with Full P&L Ownership (finance, sales, operations, supply chain, finance, admin, etc.)
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Visionary leadership with the ability to inspire and lead a diverse team.
  • Knowledge of industry regulations and best practices.
  • Strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities.
  • Bachelor s degree in a relevant field, MBA or advanced degree is a plus.
  • Willingness to travel as necessary.
