**POSITION SUMMARY:**
The candidate will provide technical and security expertise to ensure system security requirements are properly configured, and policies adhered to by users. The successful candidate will have demonstrated deep technical and Industrial Security knowledge as well as provided comprehensive IA support through a systems full lifecycle. In addition, the candidate should be able to research policies and regulations, productively interact with various agencies and levels of management, and contribute to establishing and maintaining accredited information systems.
**FUNCTIONS/DUTIES**
* Research and evaluation to ensure JSIG and other security related guidelines requirements are being met on Information Systems
* Conduct RMF Certification Testing and setup for Information Systems to ensure functional/support for appropriate accreditation level
* Develop and maintain all information system certification/accreditation documentation in accordance with mandated policies
* Coordination with other System Administrators to ensure the SCTM requirements are being met
* Research Information Systems technologies and capabilities
* Conduct/oversee weekly audits/reviews of Computer Information Systems to ensure compliance
* Update Anti-Virus software definitions
* Review Information Systems to identify potential security weaknesses, recommend improvements to amend vulnerabilities and implement changes and document upgrades
* Troubleshoot computer hardware, software peripherals
* Upgrade of Information Systems and security checklist guidelines
**Qualifications**
**Minimum Qualifications:**
* US Citizenship required to work at Arnold AFB
* Current Secret clearance, Top Secret clearance preferred
* At least 3 years of experience in any of the following Linux Administrator (Linux+), Windows Administrator, Information System Auditor, Information Systems Security Officer/Engineer, Data Security Analyst, Network Control Technician
* Must possess or be willing to obtain CISSP, Security+, CISA, Linux+, MS Server, and/or other applicable certifications in compliance with DoD Directive 8570 guidance
* You must be able to meet all health requirements, including but not limited to, current and future vaccination requirements for infectious diseases such as COVID-19.
**Desired Qualifications:**
* Experience with JSIG, RMF, ICD 503, JAFAN 6/3, NIST 800, and NISPOM
