Title: Data Designer 3
Schedule: 3 days onsite (Tuesday-Thursday)
Location: Westfield Center, OH
Duration: 6 12-month contract to hire
Must-Haves:
- 10+ years experience in IT and 7+ years Data Modeling experience
- Experience designing conceptual, logical, and physical data models
- Erwin modeling experience preferred
- Relational data modeling experience OLTP database design required
- Data Analysis skills must be able to dig into data to understand data relationships
- Extensive experience with SQL
- Understanding of relational SQL Server databases and how to design them
- Experience scripting with SQL
- Experience supporting multiple teams at one time
Nice to Have:
- Experience working with Agile teams
- Insurance industry experience Property & Casualty
Day to day:
Insight Global is looking to hire a Data Designer 3 for one of our largest clients in Northeast, Ohio. As a Data Designer 3, you are a member of the Enterprise Information Management and Analytics team, supporting important initiatives that enable the business by analyzing data requirements, creating conceptual, logical, and physical models to satisfy requirements, and designing and implementing necessary database tables to support application development. You will be responsible for enhancing the company s legacy policy system, collaborating, and joining on different enhancements across teams. You will play a large part in analyzing and figuring out how the data relates to each other, and then use that knowledge to design the database. You will be on a team of 3 Data Modelers, understanding the structure of the database for the long-term.
