Assisted Family Care is committed to hiring enthusiastic, and caring professionals who thrive on making a difference in the lives of others! We are looking for compassionate and dedicated caregivers to assist our elderly, ill, and disabled clients in their homes with activities of daily living.
**Currently, we are looking for a caregiver to work in NASHVILLE: SATURDAY AND SUNDAY from 8am - 4pm or 9am - 5pm.**
**TASKS: Care is for a wheelchair-bound female.**
* Toileting and incontinence care
* Bed baths, oral care and dressing
* Medication reminders/hand to mouth assist
* Meal prep and serving/light assist with eating
* Companionship
* Transfer assistance from a wheelchair

**Qualifications**
* Enjoy working in a one-on-one setting, eager to improve and continuously learn new skills
* Ability to perform all essential job functions with or without accommodations
* Valid drivers license and reliable transportation every single day
* Able to pass Abuse Registry, Criminal background, and Motor Vehicle background checks
* Able to pass a drug test
* Validated ability to act in a compassionate and supportive manner
* Available to work different shifts, including nights and/or weekends
* Prior experience in healthcare, hospitality, or in-home care environment (minimum of 1 year)
* Willingness to enforce health and safety standards
* Supportive and compassionate
* Dementia care a PLUS!
