**Inventory Manager**

As the Inventory Manager for Astranis, you will play an integral role in keeping satellite production moving forward. As the first member of the inventory team, embedded within the Supply Chain division, your first task will be to build process ensuring accurate receiving, securing, tracking, and supplying of thousands components to a diverse group of cross functional stakeholders.

You will be critical to the buildout of processes and systems such as protocol to receiving urgent part deliveries, updating our internal ERP software, or packaging critical components for internal and off-site delivery. **Role**

+ Maintain the integrity of virtual and physical inventory systems through regular updates based on goods received, parts outgoing, and transfers.

+ Take ownership of all incoming freight, standard carrier deliveries (UPS, USPS, FedEx, etc.), completed Machine Shop materials, and other internally-produced parts for put-away into the correct location.

+ Ensure outgoing materials and shipments are packaged securely according to engineering specification, labeled correctly, and sent on schedule.

+ Execute scheduled inventory cycle counts on weekly, quarterly, and yearly cadences and make any necessary adjustments to virtual inventory records.

+ Coordinate with the team on parts requiring inspection, pulling parts from receiving and transferring back post-inspection.

+ Engage with cross-functional stakeholders in an organized, adaptive way, demonstrating an ability to work through shifting priorities while emphasizing process and taking existing projects and broader company priorities into account.

+ Communicate clearly and effectively regarding the status of tasks, progress blockers, and potential risks to project schedules.

**Requirements**

+ Excellent communication and a willingness to learn new software and tools

+ Bachelors Degree preferred.

+ 2-3 years of professional experience in a fast-paced setting.

+ Warehouse, Logistics, Shipping/Receiving experience strongly preferred.

+ Ability to lift, load, and deliver physical materials/equipment on a regular basis.

+ Some reasonable schedule flexibility around critical production and launch deadlines.

+ Familiarity/certification with forklifts, pallet jacks, and similar equipment preferred.

+ Experience in building an Inventory program from the ground up.
