**Assistant Shop Leader / Assistant Retail Sales Manager**

At Tuft & Needle (
Our Assistant Shop Leader helps to lead one of our Tuft & Needle retail shops. You will help supervise the team and report to the Shop Leader. Together, you will work collaboratively to produce a highly successful shop. And were hoping you will want to grow with us!
**WHAT YOULL DO** Role model and help to lead an elevated experience in your shop that fosters a more personalized, clientele relationship with the perfect blend of style, expertise, & sleep solutions. Support execution of action plans to meet sales, KPI, payroll, shop expense, and profitability goals. Support local market outreach initiatives to drive new client traffic into your shop. Assist in the training and development of the team to ensure efficient & consistent shop operations while minimizing loss and maintaining a safe workplace. Ensure compliance and adherence to T&N policies & procedures and all company directives.
**HOW YOULL DO IT** Lead by example with consistent and effective communication to keep employees informed. Strong written and verbal communication skills with excellent planning and prioritization skills. Champion our culture with a balance of accountability & shared recognition for a job well done. **WHAT YOU BRING** Ideal candidate will have 2+ years in a customer facing retail or related industry environment. Ideal candidate will have 1+ years experience retail or service industry leadership experience Our people You'll work with some of the most talented, supportive, and savvy individuals out there.
