Our client is a privately held company with over $500 million in revenues. They are a leader in their industry and are growing quickly both organically and via acquisition. They are seeking to hire a Senior Financial Analyst to work 3 days in office, 2 from home.
The Senior Financial Analyst will play a crucial role in the organization by creating and analyzing financial data to support our growth strategy. This role is ideal for professionals who thrive in high-volume, fast-paced environments and have a keen eye for detail. With responsibilities ranging from creating financial reports to conducting budget analysis and presenting to the executive team
Responsibilities:
- in-depth analysis of financial data, including revenue, expenses, and profitability, to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.
- Monthly Actual vs. Budget and Actual vs. Forecast comparisons, distribute to branches and perform analysis of results as needed.
- variance commentary on monthly basis and highlight trends / changes in the business for management reporting.
- weekly cash forecast process reporting to C-Suite and Private Equity Sponsor
- the coordination of the budget process including implementation, coordination with reginal finance managers, consolidation, and analysis.
- with cross-functional teams, such as Accounting, HR and Legal to assist in the creation of board presentations and monthly business reviews.
- business studies on past, future and comparative performance and develop forecast and budget models.
- ad hoc analyses and duties as required to support the Finance Department.
Requirements:
- Experienced in MS Office, Viewpoint or other financial software applications.
- knowledge of financial analysis, forecasting, financial reporting, and scenario planning.
- analytical skills, organization, and curiosity to develop new methods and processes.
- bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field.
- 1 to 5 years of relevant working experience.
