POSITION TITLE: Facilities and Special Projects Manager


POSITION PURPOSE:

Oversee daily and strategic maintenance repairs. Provide guidance, solve problems and execute appropriate resolution and support for the stores, and operations teams regarding repair and maintenance issues. Manage minor to medium sized brand initiatives, rollouts, retrofits and special projects.


ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

Oversee the functioning and maintenance of retail location systems including mechanical, electrical, and fire/life safety. Manage all preventative maintenance budgets and contracts.

Manage subcontractors scorecards for quality, timeliness, urgency. Establish timelines for completion of work and ensure timeline compliance. Analyze work orders and manage NTE's to meet budget. Manage and maintain positive relationship between Store Facilities, field personnel and Landlord. Track and properly inform all departments regarding landlord/warranty/back charge issues.

Manage bidding, review, planning and execution of store projects and review existing repair and maintenance work order requests for follow through and cost savings. Provide input on small to medium projects concerning design, construction, and development of repair and maintenance budgets. Follow-up and close out work orders to ensure accrual accuracy. Lead planning and oversight of capital improvement projects and programs and act as project manager for major and minor capital projects.

Aid Director in internal audit, evaluation and execution of best practices for existing system. Manage and oversee vendor base process and accrual compliance. Work with Finance to produce on-time and accurate reports, including cost savings initiatives, variance analyses. Oversee project progress, ensuring that timing, costs and contract requirements are met.


EDUCATION: Associate Degree
