  • Develop and maintain comprehensive sanitation procedures to meet regulatory requirements and industry standards.
  • Implement cleaning and sanitization schedules across all plant areas.
  • Lead and supervise a sanitation team, providing training and support to ensure protocol adherence.
  • Coordinate sanitation activities to minimize disruption to production.
  • Conduct regular inspections to assess cleanliness and hygiene standards.
  • Liaise with regulatory agencies to ensure compliance with sanitation regulations.
  • Identify and implement improvements in sanitation processes.
  • Stay updated on sanitation industry trends and best practices.
  • Facilitate communication with production, quality control, and maintenance teams regarding sanitation issues.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams on sanitation initiatives.
  • Ensure employees receive necessary food safety, sanitation, and occupational safety training.
  • Conduct risk assessments and develop mitigation strategies.
  • Keep policies and procedures current and effectively communicated.
  • Support food safety and quality initiatives in the plant.
  • 3+ years of sanitation management experience in food manufacturing.
  • Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and manufacturing equipment.
  • Familiarity with GMP, SQF audits, FDA, PMO, HACCP, and OSHA requirements.
  • Strong leadership and team management abilities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness and hygiene standards.
  • Spanish fluency required.
