CNC Mill Setup and Operator - 2nd Shift

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned:
Plan machining by studying work orders, blueprints, engineering plans, materials, specifications, and machining parameters.
Set tools and fixtures, make offsets and compensations, modify G-code
Calculates requirements using basic math
Ensures the production plan is executed and met.
Track all work in process within department, ensure all materials are identified and traceable.
Provide assistance to employees regarding machine setup, operation, malfunctions, etc.
Identify and communicate production issues and communicate production issues in a timely manner
Documents actions
Accomplishes organization goals by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests, exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments.

While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is occasionally exposed to moving mechanical parts. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate to loud.
