**Bilingual Front Desk**

We are seeking full-time **Bilingual Medical Clerk** to work as a Phone Operator at our site in Norristown, PA. We are looking for a candidate that can deliver compassionate care to patients by assisting with support services for clerical staff and providing direct positive interaction with patients and their caregivers.
**JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:**
> Screens incoming patient calls
>
> Call patients to remind them of their appointments the next day
>
> Answers questions from patients and forwards calls to the appropriate personnel
>
> Calls in prescriptions to local pharmacies with the authorization of the provider
>
> Sorts, scans, and electronically files paper documents in the patient's electronic health record
>
> Sorts and distributes incoming mail/faxes for the providers and medical records staff
>
> Translates for providers and patients, when applicable
>
> Provides coverage for health center front desk clerical staff as requested
>
> Completes other duties as requested by the Provider, Team Leader, or Health Center Manager
>
>
**QUALIFICATIONS:**
> High School Diploma or GED **REQUIRED**
>
> Bilingual in Spanish/English **REQUIRED**
>
> Experience in a medical office setting **PREFERRED**
