**Job Description**
A Merchandise Processor contributes to rue21s results by preparing store shipments while Picking and Packing merchandise into outbound cartons. A great teammate effectively communicates with their Peers and Leadership team and takes ownership of position responsibilities with critical attention to detail.
Commits to supporting rue21s vision, mission, and values of an inclusive environment and sets an example for their sphere of influence
Accurately Pick and Pack merchandise into outbound cartons with the use of a hand-held device
Prepare outbound cartons by taping and pushing them onto the conveyor
Identify information on Shipping label pertaining to specific slot locations
Maintain established productivity standards
Keep work area clean and free of clutter to maintain a safe work environment
Perform other duties as assigned
**Qualifications**
High School education or equivalent
Prior Warehouse and/or Distribution experience preferred, but not required
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Engaging interpersonal skills that foster relationships with cross-functional partners
Efficient organization, prioritization, and time management skills
Ability to lift 15-25lbs- Continuous
