SUMMARY: Assists in overall store loss prevention efforts including theft, cash handling and safety issues performing the following duties.

Requirements

QUALIFICATIONS: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duties satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. Must be able to successfully pass a criminal records check prior to actual hire (No history of any criminal convictions or serial arrests).

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE: High School diploma or GED required; two year college degree or relevant experience in the retail, loss prevention or security field is preferred. Must be 21 years or older.

LANGUAGE SKILLS: Ability to read and write accurately, interpret documents such as training and instructional materials, safety rules, laws, and ordinances, written reports and company directives. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Must be able to communicate with a wide variety of customers and co-workers.

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS: Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide.

REASONING ABILITY: Ability to correctly evaluate problems involving losses of goods and or monies using a calm and common sense approach and within present company policies and current legal rulings. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram or schedule form.
