Job Details
The EHS Specialist will foster and promote employee safety and ensure compliance with applicable Environmental, Health, and Safety laws as well as overseeing multiple manufacturing facilities.
Responsibilities:
- Develop, implement, and oversee sanitation protocols.
- Ensure compliance with regulations and industry standards.
- Lead team to maintain a clean, safe work environment.
- Coordinate sanitation to minimize production disruption.
- Conduct inspections and improve processes.
- Collaborate with regulators and cross-functional teams.
- Provide training and support for protocol adherence.
- Maintain policies and support food safety initiatives.
Requirements:
- 3+ years' sanitation management in food manufacturing.
- Chemical cleaning proficiency.
- Understanding of manufacturing sanitation and regulations.
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
- Attention to detail; fluency in Spanish preferred.
