Senior Hardware Engineer Needed for Leading Consumer Electronics Manufacturer

This $59M Consumer Electronics Manufacturer is the fastest growing brand within their space. This Senior Hardware Engineer will be responsible the electronic design portion of the appliance including power supply, sensors, power supply and wifi and Bluetooth. This Sr. HW Engineer will be responsible for the schematic design and PCB Layout.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Lead the design and development of product firmware, employing microcontrollers and real time operating systems (RTOS).
- Manage the entire PCB fabrication, assembly, and testing lifecycle.
- Collaborate closely with the UI/UX team to create seamless and user-friendly product interfaces.
- Work collaboratively with Mechanical Engineering and Industrial Design teams to integrate hardware components effectively
- Take ownership of the technical aspects of the Marketing Requirements Document (MRD).
- Define and establish product specifications and acceptance test procedures (ATP).
- Act as a primary interface with vendors and the factory, addressing technical concerns promptly.
Education & Experience
- Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering
- 8+ years experience in HW development
- Strong understanding of PCB fabrication, assembly, and testing processes.
- Experience with electronic and small electrical appliance product development
- Experience developing firmware and hardware for embedded system
- Experience in Embedded System Architecture and documentation
- Experience with wireless networks including WiFi and Bluetooth
- Experience with designing circuit board schematic capture and layout tools (Altium or similar)
