Pay Rate: $50-$58/HR DOE

Location: Columbus Ohio (Hybrid Schedule)


Job Description:

This role will be part of the Testing Center of Excellence that will provide testing support to the Pricing and Promotions Coupon Hub project. The objective of the project is to deliver a seamless and consistent customer experience for promotion and coupon setup. This role will partner with application/product owners, functional owners, and tech leads, to identify scenarios and execute tests to verify data and ensure that data is flowing to the appropriate systems as well as check conformance to system requirements. This individual will work across the board to ensure that all deliverables are completed successfully and on time.

Responsibilities:

  • Creating orders on Web and Mobile applications and validating that pricing, promotion, and coupon data is flowing to applications as well as other integrated systems as expected.
  • Perform project tasks using standard software testing methodology (test planning, test scope identification, test case development, test execution, and defect management).
  • Demonstrate accountability for testing tasks assigned on the project. Including providing daily updates as well as escalating issues as required.
  • Exhibit confident, tactful oral communication with peers and IT leaders.
  • Develop and deliver formal written communication to project team and leaders as needed.
  • Deliver day-to-day assignments with a high level of quality and attention to detail.
  • Independently drive issues to closure, escalating to leadership as needed.
  • Apply a systematic approach to data gathering and analysis to make key decisions that are supported by facts.

Qualifications:

  • 2-4 years of experience in the testing domain with demonstrated test experience.
  • Retail experience.
  • Omni Channel testing is preferred.
  • Strong understanding of Software Development Lifecycle methodologies (Waterfall, Iterative, Agile).
  • Experience working with multiple teams and integration across multiple applications.
  • Experience delivering testing services in an onshore/offshore model.
  • Experience with HP ALM for test and defect management.
  • Organizational and planning skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills.
  • Proactive participation in team environment.
  • Strong documentation and communication skills.
  • Takes pride in delivering quality work to meet the needs of clients and customers.
