**Description**
Essential duties and responsibilities:
* Define urgency of, and prioritize accordingly, the raw material needs of operations
* Prepare and submit to purchasing Request for Material defining the scope of material needed
* Facilitate required documents needed for logistics pickup and shipments as needed
* Ensure raw materials are within the scope of what was requested by operations. Work with purchasing and operations if issues arise due to the quality of the item delivered
* Ensure on time delivery of all raw materials
* Work with Central Stores to locate materials that have been received into the plant
* Assist in review of receipted materials for quality and order requirements
* Other responsibilities as defined by the director of purchasing
Qualifications and Experience:
* Bachelors Degree (preferred)
* Previous supply chain experience, preferably 3+ years in manufacturing
* Excellent Planning and Organizing skills a must
* Attention to detail
* Must be willing and able to learn ERP related software applications to properly perform job duties
* Agile to work in fast pace environment
* Available and accessible after hours as needed
* Demonstrated sense of urgency and phone use vs. email as needed
* Effectively communicates with internal and external customers
* Excellent Computer Skills - Working knowledge of Microsoft Office; Analytical in nature
* Eager to learn; Willingness to be mentored
