An exciting Bio-Medical start up is looking for a talented Senior Data Scientist to join their team on a Perm basis. The firm is headquartered in Washington DC but this role is open to fully remote.
The firm are looking for a Data scientist with advanced expertise in statistical modeling, predictive analytics, and Machine Learning. This role will be responsible for analyzing complex data sets to develop models and algorithms that are tailored to their consumer Data for multiple verticals.
Responsibilities:
- Create, build, and deploy machine learning models and analytical solutions tailored for consumer data examination within the Health and Wellness, Insurance, and Retail Banking industries.
- Work closely with data engineers and business analysts to seamlessly integrate analytical insights into solutions, ensuring they meet sector-specific demands.
- Perform advanced statistical analysis to unveil patterns, forecast future trends, and offer actionable insights crucial for sector-specific decision-making.
- Craft comprehensive reports and presentations to deliver detailed findings and recommendations to stakeholders, adeptly communicating intricate analytical results.
- Stay abreast of industry advancements and technological progressions in Health and Wellness, Insurance, and Retail Banking to continuously refine and elevate analytical frameworks.
Qualifications:
- Master's degree or Ph.D. in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field.
- 5+ years of Data Science experience, ideally in Health and Wellness, Insurance or Retail Banking industries.
- Proficiency in Python, R, SQL
- Knowledge of cloud technologies (AWS, Azure, GCP)
- Experience with machine learning frameworks like TensorFlow, Keras, or PyTorch.
