Role Description
This is a part-time on-site role as a Junior Interior Designer at E.L. Interiors, LLC located in Brentwood, TN. As a Junior Interior Designer, you will be responsible for assisting senior designers in the design and implementation of residential and commercial interior projects. This includes creating design concepts, selecting materials and furnishings, producing drawings and renderings, coordinating with clients and contractors, tracking orders and coordinating project installs, and maintaining the fabrics and finishes library.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Interior Design from an accredited program
- 2 years experience with an interior design or architecture firm is preferred
- Demonstrated knowledge of design principles, color theory, and space planning
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, Microsoft, Studio Designer, and Adobe Creative Suite
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
- Strong problem-solving abilities and ability to meet deadlines
- Experience with project management and client relationship management is a plus
