Position Overview: We are seeking a talented and driven Energy Litigation Associate Attorney to join our esteemed team in Houston, TX. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in energy litigation, a solid understanding of the energy industry, and the ability to handle complex litigation matters with precision and expertise. This position offers the opportunity to work on high-profile energy litigation cases and collaborate with a team of experienced attorneys in a dynamic and supportive environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Managing all aspects of energy-related litigation matters, including case strategy, pleadings, discovery, motions practice, and trial preparation
  • Conducting legal research and analysis on energy law issues and regulatory matters
  • Drafting and reviewing legal documents, including complaints, motions, briefs, and settlement agreements
  • Representing clients in court proceedings, hearings, and alternative dispute resolution forums
  • Providing strategic legal advice and counsel to clients on energy litigation matters
  • Collaborating with partners and other team members to develop effective litigation strategies and solutions
  • Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients and industry stakeholders
  • Keeping abreast of developments in energy law and industry trends

Qualifications:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school
  • Admission to the State Bar of Texas
  • 3-5 years of experience practicing energy litigation, preferably in a corporate law firm setting
  • Strong understanding of energy law, regulations, and industry practices
  • Excellent written and oral advocacy skills
  • Demonstrated ability to manage complex litigation matters independently
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment
