Family Law Legal Assistant

Job Description:

LHH Recruiting Solutions is currently in search of a skilled and experienced Family Law Legal Assistant to join our team on a full-time basis. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in family law and will be responsible for providing administrative support to our legal team.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist attorneys with preparation of legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and discovery requests
  • Maintain and organize client files
  • Communicate with clients, opposing counsel, and court personnel
  • Schedule appointments and court appearances
  • Conduct legal research as needed
  • Prepare correspondence and draft basic legal documents
  • Assist with trial preparation
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience as a family law legal assistant
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and legal case management software
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
  • Knowledge of legal terminology and procedures

Pay Details: $50,000 to $60,000 based on experience
