Customer Service/Administrative Assistants


Job Details

We are seeking two reliable, energetic, customer service representative/administrative assistants to join our team in Westlake, Ohio. These individuals will support customers who register for classes at Original Sewing & Quilt Expo events and undertake administrative tasks to ensure the office's efficient operation.

Responsibilities Include:

Answer phone calls, respond to emails and social media messages, place orders

Perform a variety of administrative duties such as data entry, distributing mail, processing checks, shipping, copying, scanning, etc.

Schedule volunteers

Assist with class program proofing

Pack on-site registration bins

Process after event paperwork

Track and replace office supplies, on-site supplies, shipping materials, etc.

Oversee office maintenance and services

Perform other duties as assigned

Experience and Skills/Abilities:

Detail-oriented mindset

Self-sufficient, well organized, exceptional work ethic to meet deadlines

Flexible with the ability to prioritize new tasks as they come in

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision

Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize in a dynamic environment

Proficient with office applications such as Microsoft Office, Outlook, SharePoint or Google Docs, and basic computer software

Aptitude for learning new software and systems

A crafty nature with sewing, quilting and/or knitting experience is desired, but not required

Work Hours: Approximately 9:00 am to 3:00 pm Monday Friday

Events: No travel required

Some lifting up to 30lbs required.
