The Warsaw office was established in 2008 and comprises of two business lines, a dynamically growing International Operations Centre (SSC) providing asset and fund services for a number of locations across Europe and local custody & clearing business offering broker-dealers, global custodians and investment banks a full local clearing, settlement and custody solution in Poland. **For new activity within BNP Paribas Securities Services in Poland** which is an exciting, dynamic and growing operation centre in Warsaw we are looking for candidates who are willing to apply for the position of: IT Team Leader

IT Team Leader is responsible for managing IT Support function in IT Department. The ole enables the delivery of a high quality service to end users, and ensures that daily support process meets business needs. This role is crucial to ensuring customer requirements are met in terms of communication, prioritizing, escalating and resolving incidents and requests.

Responsibilities:

* Leading IT incidents and requests to resolution

* Developing Service Desk process and workflows

* Providing and developing communication plans to customers

* Providing on call support if needed

* Contributing to the Change Management Process

* Administrate the team calendar, holidays

* Manage team members appraisals and development plans

* Coach all team members and motivate them to meet desired results

* Monitor all team members and provide necessary advice and guidance

* Review completed tasks to secure compliance with standards

* Work alongside other departments to achieve company goals and visions

* Write and forward regular reports to the management, as well as incidents reports and post mortem statements

* Co-organize and co-lead IT Steering Committees

* Observe service desk operation techniques to determine how effective they are and implement new techniques when old ones are ineffective

* Co create and monitor the company IT budget

* Be a SPOC for any IT escalation and crisis management related to IT malfunctions internal and external)

Qualities and Skills required:

* Minimum 2 years of experience as DTL/Team Leader/Supervisor

* Expert knowledge of IT support process

* Good working knowledge of standard IT Systems, Hardware and Network

* Experience in handling complex IT incidents and use of escalation procedures

* Leadership and people management skills

* Proficient written and verbal communication in English

* Excellent customer facing/customer service skills

* ITIL (Foundation or higher) and other Professional Certification in IT will be an asset

* Able to work under pressure and meet deadlines

* Able to demonstrate a high degree of flexibility including shift and out of hours working

* Able to manage and priorities and tasks and time efficiently

* Good organizational skills

* Able to manage sensitive and confidential information

* Self-motivation and able to take responsibility
