Job Details
We are looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Project Estimator. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of construction processes, materials, and labor costs, along with excellent analytical and communication skills.
Qualifications:
- Ability to deliver results on time.
- Well organized
- 5 years' experience in estimating, preconstruction, field, or management in Construction
- Thorough understanding of current building construction systems means and methods.
- Familiarity with construction contracts, and bonding and insurance requirements
- Thrives in a collaborative and cooperative team environment.
- Strong MS Office, Word, Excel, and outlook
- Ability to create and nurture relationships with clients and vendors.
Responsibilities
- Interface with clients, architects, engineers
- Develop and maintain bid lists and relationships with local subcontractors.
- Solicit and scope bids from subcontractors.
- Negotiate with subcontractors and vendors.
- Define and develop scopes of work.
- Perform preliminary site inspections.
Provide further budgets at each stage of design
