About the Role

The Supervisor is responsible for overseeing specific manufacturing processes within the plant, ensuring operations run smoothly. This role will also lead a team of staff, monitor quality standards, output for the department, and ensure safety protocols are followed.


Responsibilities

  • Manage processes for the plant, overseeing a team, and leading day-to-day operations to ensure production goals are met.
  • Deliver to quality standards to ensure products are produced according to customer demand and organizational expectations.
  • Monitor and analyze departmental production output, identifying trends and opportunities for improvement in partnership with the Operations Manager.
  • Manage a team of production and hourly staff, providing leadership, coaching, and feedback to improve performance.
  • Train newly hired staff in production processes and procedures, ensuring alignment of expected production outcomes.
  • Partner with other departments in managing facility workflows by addressing challenges.
  • Maintain accurate records where required.
  • Partner with managers and safety in managing safety program compliance.
  • Assist with employee matters, from hiring to disciplinary actions as needed.
  • Foster exceptional and collaborative partnerships with facility staff.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.


Experience & Education

  • At least 1 year in a supervisory role in a manufacturing environment.
  • Knowledge of production practices, equipment, and quality control standards.
  • Bilingual in Spanish and English strongly preferred.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Any combination of experience and education will be considered.


Physical & Environment

  • Prolonged periods of standing and walking.
  • Must be able to lift 50 pounds at times.
  • Most duties are performed in a non-climate-controlled environment. May occasionally perform tasks that are off-site which require varying forms of travel. Hazards require the use of personal protective equipment while in facility production areas.

Experience: 1+ years of experience in Operations Management


Computer Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office products


Certifications & Licenses: Valid Driver's License,


Starting Pay for Supervisor: $58,000-$65,000
