**Washroom Operator I (2nd Shift)**
**Position Summary:**
Catalent Pharma Solutions is hiring a **Washroom Operator I (2nd shift)** in San Diego, CA. The Washroom Operator is responsible for executing equipment cleaning, equipment sampling, suite/facility cleaning, and equipment control in support of GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) operations. This individual will function as a member of the Equipment Team; must demonstrate excellent communication, organization, and time management skills, and will work with multiple departments across the organization.
Work hours are **Mon-Fri 2nd shift (2pm-10:30pm)** **.** Employees are required to work overtime as necessary per department/site needs.

**The Role:**
+ Support disassembly of manufacturing equipment prior to cleaning.
+ Prepare solutions for manufacturing equipment cleaning.
+ Participate in manufacturing equipment cleaning.
+ Assist with sample manufacturing equipment for cleaning verification.
+ Document sampling procedure and submit results for approval.
+ Data entry and analysis to oversee and improve the equipment turnover process.
+ Support cleaning of the production suites and facility.
+ Assist with control/status/location of GMP equipment.
+ Other duties as assigned.
**The Candidate:**
+ High school diploma/GED or equivalency required.
+ 0+ year experience in a GMP environment, but 1+ years of experience preferred.
+ Knowledgeable with computer programs Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook.
+ Preferred knowledgeable in use of all basic hand tools.
+ Ability to accurately take detailed measurements.
+ Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instruction (oral and written), and ability to demonstrate excellent communication skills.
+ Strong time management and organization skills with an understanding of scheduling/deadlines and prioritizing tasks independently.
+ **Physical Requirements:** On an average 8-hour day this position requires the ability to walk, sit and stand, use hands to handle or feel, reach with hands and arms at or above shoulder height and below waist height, climb or balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; talk and hear, smell and lift up to 40 pounds. Specific vision requirements including reading of written documents, visual inspection of materials and use of computer monitor screen frequently.
**Pay:**
+ The annual pay range for this position in California is $40,000 $46,000 annually. The final salary offered to a successful candidate may vary, and will be dependent on several factors that may include but are not limited to: the type and length of experience within the job, type and length of experience within the industry, skillset, education, business needs, etc. Catalent is a multi-state employer, and this salary range may not reflect positions that work in other states.
