Manager, Project Development
Our Client, a fast growing asset owner and developer in Renewable Energy is seeking a skilled professional to join their team. This individual will be directly involved in developing the strategic direction of the company, succesfully developing utility-scale renewable projects, and identifying with stakeholders to align with long-term. This is an opportunity to further build upon a fast growing & well-known development practice within the Renewables industry.
The Manager, Project Development will be responsible for:
- Leading the execution of Utility-Scale project development initiatives from pre-NTP
- Executing on project development strategy and coordination with Federal, state, and local governments to facilitate permitting, site control, zoning, and interconnection
- Managing direct and project related reports
- Supporting development initiatives tied to utility scale projects
- Acquiring market intel to support internal stakeholders on strategic growth initiatives
The qualified candidate will possess the following:
- BS in Engineering, Environmental Science or other discipline (MBA Preferred)
- 3+ Year of experience in project development, real estate, or asset management tied to renewable energy
- Proficiency in utilization of analytics tools including, but not limited to, Microsoft Office, CAD, GIS (if applicable)
- Prior experience in development tied to FERC markets
