Training and Registration Manager - Child Care Resource & Referral Network

This person supports our entire network of professionals providing training across the state of Tennessee. You would be doing administrator level work in our LMS (learning management system) in addition to organizing training calendars and conferences, etc. Most of the work will be done from your home office somewhere within the state of TN. However, you would need to be able to travel to provide in-person logistical support for the larger conferences that happen 3-4 times a year. These conferences are planned about a year in advance and will require a couple of days at a time away from home.


Some of the responsibilities include:

  • Create, update, maintain, and track registration for quarterly TN CCPT training calendars, agency requested trainings, internal staff development, and partner trainings in Learning Stream (our LMS).
  • Conduct primary review of training calendars and submit to Training Network Coordinator final approval.
  • Prepare training calendars for entry into Learning Stream by compiling, sorting information and establishing entry priorities.
  • Maintain accurate records of training attendance, completion, and participant feedback.
  • Provide support and communicate training schedules, registration details, and updates to relevant teams.
  • Provide support in response to inquiries, concerns, and requests related to registration and training related matters.
  • Communicate with the Training Network Coordinator regarding any potential concerns shown in Learning Stream.
  • Stay abreast of database platforms and other software programs to assist with improving systems and processes.
  • Collect and aggregate educator training evaluation data reports as needed.
  • Maintain filing and make sure it is kept current and well organized.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor degree, or higher in Education, Non-profit management, Human Resources, Training and Development, or a related field.
  • Two to three years administrative experience or a combination of education and experience that is deemed to be equivalent. Experience in a non-profit or social services field is strongly preferred.
  • Knowledge of instructional design, eLearning authoring tools and the ability to adapt various methods to meet the diverse training and registration needs of the agency.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational and project management abilities.
  • Proficient in using registration software, data and learning management systems, and data entry.
  • Creative thinking and problem solving.
  • Ability to complete tasks independently.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office products including Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
  • Must have knowledge of:
  • Administrative and clerical procedures and systems, managing files, designing forms, and other office procedures as well as structure and content of the English language including the meaning and spelling of words, rules of composition, and grammar.
  • Excellent writing, presentation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Physical examination and record of negative TB test results must be on file with Signal Centers.
  • Dependable transportation, valid driver s license and insurance required.
  • Willingness to travel statewide. Work some nights and weekends.
  • Must be able to work from a remote home environment within the state of TN.

  • The ability to serve as a liaison between Signal Centers, Inc., and the sub-contracted Child Care Resource and Referral agencies.
