Interior Designer Category: Interior Design Location: Los Angeles Job Description MAGNI KALMAN DESIGN is an award-winning luxury residential interior design firm located in the Hollywood area of Los Angeles. We are looking to hire a full-time Interior Designer with AutoCAD, Photoshop and SketchUp skills and 2-5 years experience to work with our senior design team. This is an opportunity to join a globally-recognized design firm, and grow alongside our team of inspiring designers.
Responsibilities and Duties:
With oversight from our senior design team:
- Utilize AutoCAD and Sketchup to produce interior design drawings
- Utilize Photoshop to alter renderings/photographs for client presentation materials
- Research and select furniture and fabrics for high-end residential and hospitality projects
- Process and order furnishings utilizing Design Manager accounting software
- Organize and develop design presentations for client review
- Coordinate furniture installations for large-scale residences
- Administrative tasks as they relate to design projects

Job Requirements Qualifications and Skills:
- Expert proficiency with AutoCAD and drawing floor plans, elevations and section details
- Proficiency with Photoshop, Sketchup and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, Powerpoint)
- Proficiency with order tracking software (Design Manager, Quickbooks, Studio Webware, etc.)
- Knowledge of 3D Studio Max and Revit is a plus
- Experience with high-end, luxury residential furniture and fabric lines is preferred
- A proactive and teamwork-focused attitude is a must
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Detail-oriented and impeccably organized
