Greer Financial Services is in need of a Staff Accountant. The ideal candidate will be responsible for timely and accurate preparation of sales and use tax in multiple states. It is essential that this candidate bring analytical and organizational skills in order to best support the tax team. Candidates with excellent organization, research, and communication skills will do well in this role. Intermediate to advanced Excel skills will be a must.
Responsibilities
- Work closely with the department heads to understand and ensure accuracy of all tax reporting activity for a portfolio of companies
- Assist in preparation of corporate government documents
- Assist the team with other projects as they are assigned
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Accounting, Finance or Business
- 0 - 2 years' experience in accounting
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel
