**General Purpose and Scope of Position:**

The Wilbur-Ellis Feed Facilities are primarily involved in the mixing, processing, and transferring of animal feed, pet food and cattle feed, and aquaculture feed ingredients. The primary role of the Production & Warehouse Lead is to assist in all aspects of plant production, quality control, maintenance, and facility cleanliness. Candidates are well-driven self-starters that have the ability to work with a close-knit team to meet the customers demand efficiently.

**Key Skills and Abilities Include:**

* Must be at least 18 years of age

* High School Diploma or equivalent work experience required

* Willingness to operate material handling equipment including a forklift, skid steer, and other equipment as required

* Ability to repetitively lift packages up to 50Lb. (or 110Lb. with a partner) while working in a non-climate controlled dusty environment

* Good math and organizational skills

* Able to follow written and verbal directions and complete necessary documentation.

* Bilingual in English and Spanish is a plus

* Willing to work overtime hours as needed

**Specific Responsibilities and Key Deliverables Include:**

* Learn and train all roles required at the plant (mixing, control room, extruder, bagging, forklift, container loading, warehousing, etc.)

* Operate and maintain processing equipment as outlined in SOPs

* Maintain facility cleanliness throughout all operations

* Perform Quality Control while handling products

* Accurately document tasks performed (processing, maintenance, cleaning, etc.)

* Warehousing including receiving, shipping, and organizing

* Follow all safety, regulatory, and administrative policies and procedures

* Able to work and contribute to a team approach with a positive attitude and outlook

* Managing the warehouse and inventory

* Scheduling what needs to be bagged and in what order daily

* Ensuring everyone is working together as a team

* Making sure all outbound trucks are staged and ready for pick up and communicating with office Lot codes used for Purina trucks

* Communicating with the office of customer pick-ups

* Ensuring quality feed is going into the bag throughout the entire bagging process

* Ensures warehouse stays cleaned and organized

* Perform any other duties assigned by management professionally and efficiently
