**Shift Pattern: 3 days, 3 nights, 3 off - 06:00 to 18:00 / 18:00 to 06:00**
******Calling on all Educational Leavers, Working Parents and Security Officers in Hatfield and surrounding areas******
Securitas is recruiting for Security Officers to join the team for one of our clients in Hatfield.
**Our Security Officers will have the duty of:**
* Manning the university, student library and student accommodation.
* Monitor fire alarms, intruder alarms and CCTV
* Carry out patrols across the sites
* Be on the lookout for any suspicious or threatening behaviour
* Retain full control of threatening behaviour until the arrival of the police.
* Report writing and monitoring loss and waste
* Re-issuing keys and booking in visitors
* Patrolling Accommodation, University and Library.
* Noise control - dealing with any noise complaints within the accommodation.
**Required Skills**
**Requirements of Security Officer:**
* Excellent customer service, people skills, organisational skills and time management
* Ability to stay alert
* SIA License (preferable)
* 5-year checkable employment history
