Job Title: Inventory Control Specialist

Location: Onsite in Lake Oswego, Oregon

Hourly Rate: $28 - $32 per hour DOE (eligible for overtime)

Duration: Direct hire

Hours: Monday through Friday, 7am-4pm

Job Summary: As an Inventory Control Associate with LHH's esteemed client, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate records of inventory levels and ensuring the smooth operation of their supply chain and procurement practices. Your role is crucial in supporting their operations by managing stock levels, ordering supplies, and overseeing the storage of our products. Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitor and maintain current inventory levels; process purchasing orders as required; track orders and investigate problems.
  • Analyze and optimize flow of inventory at all locations.
  • Record purchases, maintain database, perform physical count of inventory, and reconcile actual stock count to computer-generated reports.
  • Coordinate 3rd party inspections for overseas inventory.
  • Process and document returns as required following established procedures.
  • Oversee international shipments, working closely with ocean carriers and logistics team.



Qualifications:

  • Bachelors Degree in Supply Chain preferred; High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • 2+ years of experience in inventory control or related field, and a strong understanding of inventory management practices.
  • Proficient in database management and record keeping, including ERP and/or SAP systems.
  • Strong proficiency in MS Suite including Excel, Outlook etc.
  • Organized, detail-oriented, and able to work with minimal supervision.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
