As a Risk Management Specialist, you will manage claims within your assigned Division(s) and/or subject matter area, which may include general/public liability claims and auto liability claims.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Guides and supports Team Members with respect to accidents, injuries, and insurance matters.
  • Liaises with Casey's claims administrators, insurers, outside counsel, and other partners to administer claims.
  • Handles a variety of automobile and general liability claims including the investigation and settlement of certain claims.
  • Interacts with Guests directly and in cooperation with Guest Relations to address concerns relating to alleged illnesses or injuries related to Casey's.
  • Tracks and manages all claim activity to completion to achieve optimal results.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Risk Management, Paralegal Studies, or a related field, or equivalent work experience is required.
  • Experience in insurance, claims, or customer service preferred.
  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
  • Strong analytical, decision-making, and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, ability to multi-task and meet deadlines.
  • Must be proficient in Microsoft Office products such as Word and Excel.
