- Strong knowledge of principles of adult learning theory, instructional systems design, and needs assessment techniques
- Strong knowledge of OSHA, DOT, EPA & MSHA training requirements, initiatives, and key content delivered by safety development team
- Strong knowledge of best practices for teaching and learning, industry standards, terminology, and technical requirements
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office products; Excel, Outlook, Word, Power Point, etc.
- Excellent verbal, written, and communication skills
- Strong planning and coordination skills
- Demonstrated ability to work on multiple projects and deal effectively with employees and management
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Education, Organizational Development, Project Management, Business, or Safety-related field
- 5-7 years of related experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience preferred
- 5-7 of related experience or an equivalent combination delivering safety content in industrial applications preferred
Travel:
- 50% to 75% travel; which will be a mix of day travel and overnight travel to the various branches within the northeast states and NY.
