Job Summary:
Senior Helpers is a leading provider of in-home care for seniors, and we are currently seeking compassionate and dedicated caregivers to join our team in Huntingdon Valley, PA. As a part-time Caregiver, you will play a vital role in supporting the physical and emotional needs of our elderly clients. This is an individual contributor role, where you will have the opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of seniors in Willow Grove, Pennsylvania.
Compensation & Benefits:
This is a part-time hourly healthcare/medical job, with a competitive compensation rate of $15 per hour. Our caregivers also enjoy a flexible schedule, training and development opportunities, and biweekly pay.
Responsibilities:
Provide compassionate and personalized care for senior clients in their homes
Assist with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
Administer medications and adhere to care plans outlined by healthcare professionals
Monitor vital signs and report any changes or concerns to the appropriate parties
Provide companionship and engage in activities to promote socialization and mental stimulation
Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients, including light housekeeping and meal preparation
Keep accurate and detailed records of care provided
Communicate effectively with clients, their families, and healthcare providers
Requirements:
Minimum of 6 months experience in a caregiving role, preferably with seniors
Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
Ability to pass a background check and drug test
CPR/First Aid certification or willingness to obtain
Excellent communication, empathy, and interpersonal skills
Ability to follow care plans and adhere to all safety protocols
Reliable and dependable with a strong work ethic
Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds and perform physical tasks as needed
