Maintenance Technician


Job Details

The Maintenance Technician position works closely with senior maintenance staff to perform minor repairs and maintenance of buildings, equipment, and grounds. This position also provides custodial responsibilities and maintains the cleanliness of all buildings.

  • Perform light maintenance and repair to plumbing and sewer systems, as well as repairs to appliances and agency vehicles.
  • Perform carpentry tasks to repair and maintain buildings, including painting interior and exterior surfaces.
  • Perform landscaping duties including mowing, trimming, edging, removing trees, and snow removal on walkways and roads.
  • Maintain the security of buildings, vehicles, and grounds.
  • Set up chairs and tables for meetings and other functions.
  • Repair, build and move furniture in offices and cottages.


Education:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
