Open Systems Northeast (OSNE) is currently seeking a qualified Security, Fire, and CCTV Installer. We are looking for team-oriented individuals possessing experience with and/or vocational training in electronics, electromechanical and low voltage systems such as CCTV, Access Control, Intrusion, and Fire Alarms. This position can be entry level, on the job training will be provided. In this role you will be responsible for learning & providing installation and wire pulling for OSNE's access control, fire, CCTV & other Security systems at customer sites.
Expectations of this Position Include:
- Develop a working knowledge of OSNEs operating standards, practices and procedures
- Assist in simple and complex installations of all electronic security system products
- Work in a team environment and maintain effective communication with OSNE Team members
- Interact in a professional manner with customers to foster positive customer relations
- Ability to use various hand and power tools safely and effectively
- Ability to stand for long periods occasionally lifting heavy loads
- Ability to climb ladders and work from ladders/lifts of various heights
Skills that are Required:
- 1-2 Years Experience: Vocational or specialized training in electronics or electrical engineering
- Not required: Experience: Knowledge and understanding of CCTV, IP Video, Access Control, Intrusion and Fire Alarms
- PC and TCP/IP diagnostic skills
- Understanding MS Windows functionality and basic PC hardware troubleshooting fundamentals
- Ability to read blueprints and schematics is a plus
- Strong aptitude with installing and troubleshooting electronics
- Strong carpentry and mechanical skills
