Finance Manager


Job Details

Working as the Finance Manager you will be responsible for assessing the financial performance. You will assist with all the accounting and control functions including all revenue and expense reporting, accounts payable, accounts receivable and monthly financial reporting requirements.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Compile new and rebid proformas ensuring timeliness and accuracy.
  • Prepare and analyze monthly management reporting.
  • Provide financial guidance to operating units within the region on matters involving revenue and profitability goals.
  • Improve financial status by compiling and analyzing budgets, forecasts, monitoring variances, identifying trends, and creating "what if scenarios.
  • Complete financial reports: monthly, quarterly, and annual reports including, but not limited to, monthly and fiscal close, internal and external audit reporting; manage report preparation and distribution.
  • Maintain inventory and cost control procedures.
  • Perform reconciliation and analysis for balance sheet accounts.
  • Analyze financial results for both internal and external use.
  • Create and design reports and spreadsheets; create and maintain a database to organize, collect and upload data into required reporting formats.
  • Perform related duties and special projects as assigned.


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year College or University in Accounting or Finance; Required
  • CPA Required
  • Accounting experience in the facility management, dining and catering industry, oil and gas, manufacturing, or hotel or conference center operations experience
  • Ability to prepare monthly financial statements, key metric reports, budgets, forecasts, cash flow projections and analyses.
  • Ability to respond to common inquiries from customers and management.
  • Ability to effectively present information to top management
  • Ability to identify problems, collect data, establish facts, and substantiate conclusions.
  • Experience with SAP, and Microsoft Excel, Power Point, and Word
  • Strong organization and time management skills
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles
  • Ability to prioritize in a dynamic work environment.
