Responsibilities

  • Plan, direct, and coordinate manufacturing processes in our industrial plant.
  • Strategically allocate facilities, equipment, materials, and personnel to improve operational efficiency.
  • Develop, apply, and maintain the highest standards for quality in industrial processes, materials, and products.
  • Evaluate and improve manufacturing methods to enhance performance.
  • Analyze work force utilization, space requirements, and workflow to design efficient layouts for equipment and workspaces.
  • Collaborate with planning and design staff to ensure seamless integration of product design and tooling.
  • Implement paperless manufacturing solutions to streamline processes and reduce waste.
  • Work closely with vendors to determine product specifications and facilitate equipment, materials, or parts acquisition, while ensuring compliance with quality standards.
  • Estimate production times, staffing requirements, and related costs to support management decisions.
  • Liaise with management, engineering, and other teams to align manufacturing capabilities, production schedules, and other considerations.
  • Apply statistical methods to forecast future manufacturing requirements and potential.


Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in either Industrial or Mechanical Engineering
  • 0 - 2 years' of engineering experience
  • Experience with Lean, Six Sigma, Kaizen, Kanban and 5S preferred
