SUMMARY:

Taltran Global has been exclusively retained by a growing medical healthcare company to find their next Controller. . Reporting to the CFO, the Controller will oversee accounting functions for the company. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to developing and implementing accounting standards, managing monthly closes, providing technical accounting expertise, leading annual audits, and scaling our global organization.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Oversee all aspects of financial reporting, including the preparation of financial statements, management reports, and regulatory filings in compliance with GAAP and regulatory requirements.
  • Lead the budgeting and forecasting process, collaborating with department heads to develop accurate and realistic financial plans.
  • Establish and maintain effective internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Manage the month-end and year-end close processes, including review and analysis of financial data, reconciliations, and variance analysis.
  • Coordinate with external auditors and oversee the annual audit process, ensuring timely completion and resolution of audit issues.
  • Provide financial analysis and insights to support strategic decision-making and drive business performance.
  • Manage treasury functions, including cash flow forecasting, banking relationships, and investment management.
  • Evaluate and implement accounting software and systems enhancements to improve efficiency and accuracy of financial processes.
  • Conduct financial due diligence for potential acquisitions, partnerships, or investments, assessing risks and opportunities.


REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelors degree or higher in Accounting, Finance, or related field required
  • Public Accounting Experience, required
  • Certified Public Accountant (CPA) required (active or inactive)
  • Experience with Medicare/Medicaid preferred
  • Strong technical accounting knowledge and proficiency in GAAP and financial reporting requirements
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex financial information to stakeholders at all levels of the organization
  • Proven leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a diverse team
  • Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities effective
