The **Warehouse Supervisor** is responsible for the **facilitating** and **coordinating** day to day operations of a Composites One distribution center including accurate receipt, shipment, storage, and production process of materials according to all established Company and regulatory policies and procedures. Reports directly to the Distribution Center Operations Manager.

**Primary Responsibilities:**

* Oversees and assists with the receipt, coordination and safety of goods coming through the warehouse

* Ensures orders arrive and are shipped on time to appropriate destinations and in expected quantities

* Assists in staffing, development and performance management of warehouse workers

* Communicates and ensures all requirements pertaining to warehousing, material handling, safety and shipping are followed by staff

**Position Requirements:**

* A minimum of 3 years of progressively responsible experience in a warehouse environment, including experience with order picking, shipping, receiving, inventory counts, pick/pack

* Previous supervisory experience preferred

* Knowledge and understanding of FIFO, OSHA requirements, safety awareness and hazardous materials shipping

* Forklift certification strongly preferred

* Ability to learn and utilize internal database and software systems, including internal -Warehouse Management System, B2B functions, near-miss and MSDS, UPS, FedEx and dedicated logistics systems.

* HS Diploma, GED or equivalent.

**Physical Requirements:**

* Moderate to heavy physical activity; ability to independently lift up to 75 pounds.

* Ability to walk and/or stand for entire length of shift; regularly required to stoop, kneel, crouch, bend or crawl; may be required to sometimes sit, climb or balance.

* Ability to reach, grasp, push and pull with hands and arms.

* Close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus; hand-eye coordination.
