Weston Primary Care (WPC) is recruiting! We are seeking an experienced Internist or Geriatrician to join our concierge medical practice. We have been growing rapidly over the last few years and we now need to bring in a additional concierge physician. WPC opened in 2007 and converted 100% to a concierge medical practice in 2014. We are an affiliate practice in the MassGeneral/Brigham Hospital system and use EPIC as our EMR. Drs. Maryann and Tim Murphy are co-owners, and they both received their medical education at Boston University Medical School. Dr Tim Murphy trained at BMC and Dr Maryann Murphy trained at BIDMC, both in Internal Medicine. WPC has received a number of awards from Massachusetts Health Quality Partners over the last few years recognizing us for our excellent patient care and patient experience.
Responsibilities
The ideal candidate physician will help WPC grow by bringing in new concierge primary care patients. We find that the best way to grow a medical practice is by delivering excellent medical care coupled with excellent patient satisfaction. Our physicians typically see 6-8 patients a day in an unhurried and thorough style. Our physicians communicate with patients and their families timely and empathetically. We communicate with our colleagues in the other specialties to collaborate on patient care issues. Our physicians also network with MetroWest area Assisted Living and Independent Living facilities to offer home medical visits to their home-bound patients. We are a small close-knit medical practice that has been working together for many years and hope to bring in a new physician that can work well in this team environment.
Qualifications
The ideal physician candidate will have several years of experience in Internal Medicine/Primary Care/Geriatrics and have excellent credentials in terms of their education and training.
