Position Summary:

For the position of Part-Time Field Sales Technician, ClearCaptions is looking for a caring, customer service-oriented individual with a demonstrable passion for helping people with hearing loss. This is an in-the-field position that brings the opportunity to individually train our customers in using ClearCaptions equipment and service to effectively enrich their lives.


As a Field Sales Technician for ClearCaptions, you must enjoy working with a variety of people in their homes, mostly senior citizens. This is a part-time position working 20-28 hours per week for those who enjoy and excel when working independently.


This is an in-field position based out of a home office and reports to a Business Development Manager.


What you will do:

  • and troubleshoot ClearCaptions devices at our customers homes.
  • train customers on how to use ClearCaptions devices and their features.
  • provide excellent customer service and adapt to unique needs of individual customers to meet business requirements.
  • Business Development Managers with lead generation activities as needed.
  • service/repair calls as assigned.
  • maintain customer records in Salesforce.
  • required reports and feedback on customer interactions.
  • adequate inventory of equipment and supplies to service customers in a timely manner.
  • duties as assigned.


Qualifications:

  • school diploma or equivalent.
  • valid driver s license, clean driving record and a personal insured vehicle.
  • to travel up to 95% by automobile in the assigned region, up to a 50-mile radius.
  • and available to work flexible hours, weekdays typically between 9am-6pm, optional weekends depending on scheduling availability.
  • from a local home office equipped with high-speed Internet.
  • computer skills and basic use of the internet.
  • working with seniors and people with health conditions or impairments.

Must be reliable, punctual and be flexible in constantly changing environments.

Physical Demands:

Primary functions require the ability to communicate over the phone and in person effectively and clearly with individuals suffering from hearing loss. Employees may experience the following physical demands for extended periods of time:

Sitting, standing, and walking (95-100%)

Stoop, bend, crouch, reach, twist, and grasp (95-100%)

Keyboarding (70-90%)

Viewing computer monitor, tablet and cell phone requiring close vision (70-90%)

Ability to lift or move up to 25 pounds.


Work Environment:

Work environment is primarily indoors in customer s home, exposure to all types of weather and temperature conditions during work, and exposure to hazardous driving and traffic conditions.

Travel is approximately 95% up to a 50-mile radius.
