Job Details

Spherion is seeking highly organized and detail-oriented Administrative Assistants to support a logistical companies daily operations.
The successful candidate will play a vital role in ensuring smooth logistical operations by providing administrative support, managing communications, and coordinating various tasks.

Responsibilities:
Serve as the primary point of contact for internal and external communications.
Schedule and coordinate meetings, appointments, and travel arrangements.
Prepare and edit correspondence, reports, and presentations.
Maintain and organize company files, records, and databases.
Assist in the preparation and processing of invoices, purchase orders, and expense reports.
Support the logistics team with data entry, tracking shipments, and updating delivery schedules.
Handle customer inquiries and resolve issues promptly.
Manage office supplies inventory and place orders as necessary.
Perform general office duties such as filing, copying, and scanning documents.
Coordinate with other departments to ensure efficient workflow and communication.

Working hours: 5:00 AM - 11:00 PM (Various Shifts Available)

Skills:
Experience in the logistics or transportation industry.
Familiarity with logistics software and database management.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Education:
High School

Experience:
1-4 years

Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent.
Proven experience as an administrative assistant or in a similar role.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Excellent organizational and time-management abilities.
Attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.
Dependable and punctual with a excellent work ethic.
