Qualifications, Education,and Experience Requirements

  • Excellent communication, leadership, and client development skills
  • Experience in complex, multi-entity or global projects is preferred.
  • Self-starter and able to handle multiple tasks and priorities.
  • In depth knowledge and experience applying Agile, Waterfall or a hybrid approach to implementations to meet customer needs.
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering is preferred.
  • PMP certification or work equivalent required.
  • Minimum 10 Years of Experience preferably in the Material Handling Industry or Warehousing and Distribution
  • Proficiency with computer software applications, Microsoft 365 application suite, including MS Project

Essential Job Functions
  • Leading project teams to deliver material handling projects that meet the business objectives and customer requirements.
  • Servicing our customers with "white gloves" and at the highest level of responsiveness and professionalism.
  • Leading and launching the project team including Sales, to achieve optimal project solution, timeline, and cost while communicating clear visibility of progress to plan.
  • Travel to customer sites for sales support, site evaluation, design reviews, and project support from installation through system acceptance.
  • Produce required documentation for the project, schedule, plans, change order documentation, meeting minutes, etc.
  • Identify risks and maintain risk register with actionable mitigation strategies, for duration of project.
  • Working closely with our manufacturing and engineering teams to ensure that the quality and functionality of our products remains at the highest level.
  • Conduct weekly issues resolution calls with customers; manage and work to resolve each reported issue through progress tracking and providing regular updates.
  • Developing detailed project schedule inclusive of all engineering, software, manufacturing, installation, integration, testing and project turnover activities.
  • Providing regular updates to project team regarding project costs management, schedule, risks and customer expectations.
  • Working closely with our manufacturing and software teams to ensure that the product specifications and production schedules are in alignment with project schedules and system requirements.
  • Analyzing project profitability, forecasting appropriate monthly costs for revenue recognition, and ensuring timely and accurate project AR/AP activities.
  • Responsible for deep understanding of project contract requirements and financial risks.
  • Ensuring project site safety of all company employees and its sub-contractors.
  • In partnership with the engineering and software team, managing the commissioning plan, system cut in plans, system acceptance testing and customer sign off.
  • Identifying business development and sales opportunities as they relate to specific projects or customers you're working with.
  • Reviewing and approving purchase requisitions for project materials and services.
  • Complete weekly time entry and expense reports.
  • Owning or participating in Training, Quality Assurance, or new process development/implementation

Working Conditions
  • This position requires up to 25% travel to job sites to provide Project Management support. Most tasks, projects, and communication with customers, peers, and supervisors will be completed using a computer, video technology, and phone.
  • This role may require physical exertion (lifting to 25 pounds), exposure to hazardous tools (PPE will be required and provided), long periods of sitting, standing, and typing may be required.
  • Located in or around one of the following Savoye offices:
    > Aurora, IL
    > Rochester, NY
    > Grand Rapids, MI

PLEASENOTE: Although this is a full-time position (40 hours per week), extended hoursand evenings may be required based on client needs.
