Monday-Friday 6:00 am-2:30 pm CST, might be Overtime on Saturdays as needed
Job Summary
Receiving inspection on Mechanical equipment, once inspection is completed, if anything is wrong/missing documentation track into performance tracking system, log into JDE and move that part to the warehouse. Will work in a Distribution Center a warehouse environment, manufacturing facility is 3 miles away from the distribution center.
Responsibilities
When inspection is completed, contractor will hand off the part with the Warehouse operators. Receiving inspection on Mechanical equipment, once inspection is completed, if anything is wrong/missing documentation track into performance tracking system, log into JDE and move that part to the warehouse. Should have experience using calipers, micrometers, high gauges, thread gauges, etc.
Required Experience and Skills
- 2+ Years experience in an inspection role in a manufacturing facility
- Working knowledge of ISO 9001 in a production environment.
- Should be familiar with API requirements.
- Knowledge of VAM, Tenaris thread inspection.
- Oilfield machine shop experience
- Basic math, read blueprints/engineering drawings and use measuring equipment
- Effective communication skills
- Experience using Calipers, Micrometers, High Gauges, Thread Gauges, Etc.
Education
- High School Diploma or GED
Training
- Contractor will complete mandatory virtual safety training then complete OJT, contractor will be trained on system such as JDE system
